Iris's journal being disposed of in the Staff Room isn't consistent with Ren as the culprit, though. She was visiting OOTP personel, not staff. She wouldn't have had access to throw the journal into the Staff Room fire.

Ashley is the one who threw the journal in the fire, because Iris was writing in it about her thoughts on becoming a Gryffindor. Ashley is too nice, so Sas had to find sooooomething to cast suspicion on her too :P

Ah, but you're assuming a burnt journal is part of the evidence against the killer, it's just another persons motive :)

...Yeesh. proooobably a bit too subtle. I went all over everything, and had not a clue it was Ren. i liked it! the game itself was tantastic, but it felt...disjointed. like it was mimssing something? ~thinks about it, tries to figure it out~
