Wonderful--this has now jumped into the shortlist of my favorite post-Kiss scenes. I especially like the easy love, the effortless relating between Harry and Ginny. I picture them this way--no awkwardness, just happy togetherness.

This is just as great on the re-read, Kathy - I especially love Harry's comfortable cheekiness with her, like when he purposely misinterprets her "Kiss me!" Great job all around.

I think that the "Kiss me!" is probably my second favorite line I've written for Harry/Ginny.

Very nice, this has great flow and banter. The true confessions works nicely to tie in so many cannon details. I love the line about Sunday detention ;)

The movies always seem to cheat us out of anything Ginny (but I am cautiously hopeful about the new movie) and the book just didn't have enough H&G in it for me. Thanks for reading!

Glad you liked it.

I did debate over whether or not to have Harry admit that to her, but I figured if he took a chance on kissing her and it turned out so well for him then he might as well tell her about the portrait hole.

I have to admit it - I wasn't real tempted to write them tearing each others clothes off when I wrote this. But, I hope you'll like my next entry that I post in a few weeks. ;)
