Very nice interview. Well done article for a well deserved person. However, one of the comments stuck with me. That person commented how PLAIN The character of Ginny was. In the book, she is very popular and very pretty. Here we have a plain Jane. It looks deliberate. Wright is very pretty in real life. On screen, she looks sometimes almost dowdy. Why? The same way Hermione is dolled up (Emma is a terrific looking young women) Again why?

I thought it was the films themselves. Watson & Radciffe (for a non romantic couple) have great chemistry. I thought that was the reason. I'm not the only person who has noticed this.

This girl is by no means ugly, but far from the girl Rowling described as "very pretty" countless times. She just has this plain Jane look that even the best make up artists had apparently failed to improve.

He was actually stating how plain Bonnie is. :@ Which annoys me considerably. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but still, how dare he? I also have no idea why he thinks she is "scared of the camera". It's hard to be scared of the camera when it hasn't really been on you!

I agree that Bonnie has been deliberately dressed and made up to look younger than her years. I believe that Emma and Dan were picked for their chemistry together. Perhaps the studio was banking on Hermione and Harry ending up together, since GoF had just come out and that made a lot of people assume it would be H/H (no IDEA why but there you go).

Thanks so much for the link! Lovely interview and I like how they asked her about Quidditch and the differences between the book and the film.
