Silverlining Awards: Best of 2008
I'm excited to announce the start of our first annual Silverlining Awards, where we have the chance to recognize some of the best and most memorable Harry/Ginny fics and artwork of 2008. This is your chance to nominate those authors and artists that you think deserve the recognition for their wonderful work.
This post is for nominations only. The mods ask that you only nominate one story or artwork per category. As a reminder, these nominations are for Harry/Ginny fic and art only. Other pairings may be included in the pieces, however the focus should be Harry/Ginny. Any other nominated piece centered around another pairing will be disregarded.
One week from today, January 11th, nominating will end in which the mods will then compile a list of all the nominees so that you can vote on your favorites. Please remember that all categories must be nominated for fics/art in 2008.
We've also included a category to recognize the betas that have gone underappreciated. With this category, there are specific instructions for nominating. We ask that you put their username and a link to their LJ/site in the text box. If you nominate someone for beta of the year, we ask that you leave a comment on this post explaining, in no less than 100 words, why you have nominated them. You must leave a explaination in order for your nomination to count. The mods will then make the deciding vote on the winner of beta of the year based upon your reasons.
Also, when nominating, we ask that you follow these instructions.
When nominating fic include: story link, author name, and story title
When nominating art include: artwork link and artist name
You should have enough room in the text boxes to allow for all of the information. If not, please let us know if there are any complications.
