Ooh, my prompt! And you've turned it into a real exploration of some of the issues surrounding Ginny and her freedom to make her own choices.

I love the subtle way you portray Harry and Ginny's relationship. They're not out to prove anything, they're just in love, and that shines through this story, even when they are (possibly) on opposing sides of the debate.

Also: Ginny drinks dark ale, and I approve!

“You have a terrible face for lying, Harry. I find it reassuring,”

Aw. So very Ginny.

And the ending is lovely - both the bathroom scene and the closing line, in their different ways. You resolve Ginny's choice in a really satisfying way, so thank you!
