A soft, gentle reunion, very much in character. I'm surprised though that Ginny didn't make Harry work just a little bit harder for the kiss. More leaves would have been in order, I think.

A very sweet story.

Thank you! I did think about making Ginny angrier, or making Harry try a little more...but in the end, she really just want to be sweet and understanding, so I let her have her way. :)

This is so perfect! They are wonderfully in character and your descriptions are delightful.

'Ginny was beautiful, and he couldn’t help but admire the way her bright hair and scarlet and gold Quidditch robes fit perfectly into a backdrop seemingly painted by the autumn just to match her. This sentence paints such a beautiful picture.

Thank you, Mystery Writer. You made me all smooshy inside!

You are so, so welcome! I was so excited when I got your prompt because it was right up my alley; all sweetness and light and fluff. I had loads of fun writing it and really enjoyed the challenge of incorporating your prompts. I can't tell you how happy I am that you enjoyed it (I was a little nervous about that); smoohsiness was exactly the effect I was aiming for! ^_^

Thank you! That is my favorite part as well; once I thought it up, I couldn't resist sneaking it in there. ^_^

Very fluffy and in touch with canon...

Ginny really got the ball rolling and reassured Harry enough that this scene became possible.
Harry’s lunge was swift and unexpected. Ginny barely had time to shout in protest before he caught her up by the waist to prevent her escape. He swung her about in a dizzying circle, then laid a loud smacking kiss on her lips, set her back on her feet, and firmly reclaimed her hand.

“Come along, minx. You can plan your revenge for my thick-headedness later. I’m starving!” He tugged at her hand gently and they resumed their walk, this time headed back for the castle.

They suit each other well.

Yes. That's how a reunion should go. No anger, no hurt, just a happiness that they can finally be back together.

Love the characterization of Harry, especially--his doubts, and insecurities, but also his earnest love for Ginny.

And the writing has a very familiar feel--when we find out who the author is, I'll smack my head and say, "Of course!"

I agree, I love the idea of a sweet reunion. (I have a huge weakness for happy endings, especially for Harry.)

Sooooo...*Are* you smacking yourself? ^_^
