He returns from an afternoon skulking neighborhood roofs (having lept 5 feet from the one next door, lower left).
He sits and ponders the window.
A gleam of inspiration and hutzpah!!
"Cat", 16 yrs old, adopted me last year. Since then he's spent his nights here.
I've been pretty adamant that he spends his days outside, unless it's a horrid blizzard or ghastly rain storm.
So we've worked out an agreement: he can come in when he wants, late evening, through the gap in the back-porch window.
But he, being a) a cat and b) male, has been pushing the limits, sneaking in through that window any old time during the day.
Now I'm not big on traumatizing folk to get compliance ... not folk, not kidz, not animuhlz ... so I've been making it difficult for him by stacking stuff on the window sill.
See the white-ish blur by his right paw? Yaa, that's the last bit of the barricade he knocked down: 2 plastic bottles and 4 C-cell batteries.
16 yr old male cat ... gotta luv his gumption!
And at the end of the day?
Cat, sleeping while I watch TV:
