Interesting story, though I'm one of those few who can't see John as being God. But then I'm not a big fan of his anyway for the way he brought up Sam & Dean. Nice that Dean got the amulet back though. ;)

I never thought of John as "God" either, but I've just recently rewatched "Dark Side of the Moon" and Ash says he can't find John Winchester. At the same time Cas can't find God. And I figure I can't get Morgan Freeman to come kick Cas's Ass, so I'll have John do it.
