That was the question, wasn't it? What would Donna have done in her place? What a decision to have to make... the Doctor's thoughts on the matter and his comment about having to choose who lives and who dies more times than he wants to think about... the worst is yet to come for him, and Ella can't tell him.
I hope they can make her pregnancy a little easier. Koray was very blunt and abrupt. They really need to get moving, though, because the Council is not going to be happy with any of this. I wonder how happy Koray is with this. As telepaths, "word" might get out quicker than one thinks.
Oh, that's how Ten knew about the oatmeal! This past/present/future stuff is really confusing, but it seems to get the job done!
I knew he'd say something about having to make that decision.
It's obvious that Koray doesn't like the scheming, but there is a sense of urgency to this and she's in on the plan. The Doctor doesn't want to deal with any political crap or red tape. He knows the Council would debate and drone on and on for days, leaving Donna to rot in temporal stasis. He knew Akakios would be on his side and they want to get the conversion going so it's too late for the Council to halt the process. The pregnancy was an unforseen hiccup that needs to be swiftly dealt with. Notice that the Doctor and Akakios didn't tell this to Ella? They knew she was under enough stress without that extra pressure of, "You need to decide NOW." It was Koray who didn't hesitate and was putting the pressure on Ella, much to the annoyance of the other two.
Of course, Ella doesn't know any of this, and she's angry with Koray for her blunt attitude.
And yep, that's how the Doctor knew! Ella told him! :)
Now there's the kind of healer I was expecting. I suppose she had to be to advance the plot, given the pressure the Doctor is under. Sounds like his friend knows and is supportive.
Ah, so the whole TARDIS changed? Am suddenly wondering how some of the companions would have reacted to their bedrooms being different depending on which Doctor they were with. :P
True, Ella never had the choice to let the baby die, not really at least. I see why you're proud of her for not running away from this and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of them that the transfer will work!

I think it depends on whether the companions hated their room decor or not! Ella just thinks it's funny.
