This has nothing to do with your job situation. I just know that I have been there a number of times in my career, and something always, ALWAYS comes through. It will for you too. And for me - again.
Metro offers really good benefits for part time drivers and the starting pay is $16.45 per hour. The training is 20 days and the pay for training is $8 per hour so that kind of sucks but since the training is about 20 days with only about 2 days off the whole time, you do make some money during the training period. It's a really difficult training period, but it's well worth it because Metro has such flexible hours and really good benefits. Not sure if this is the kind of thing you are looking for but it would be a really stable part time job.
