I get emotionally, inevitably, when anyone dies, but this really hit me. He was so crazy and brave and tireless. I hope I can spend my life doing something I love one-tenth as much as he loved his job, and that I can make a fraction of the difference that he did. Even if he really did seem slightly insane.

I think I like your roommate already, and can't wait to hear more about her.

Ah, I know! He really gets into Animal Planet sometimes; it's the hands-down cutest thing to watch.

My roommate is allergic to cats, too, but she's being tough about it for Sal's sake. It's pretty impressive.
