Summary: The storyline starts from when the original Hey!Say!7 guest-starred on Shounen Club and moves on from there. Bear with me...I think this is a great pairing and hopefully, I won't make too many of you guys mad!
Despite his status, despite his immense popularity, it is only during the Hey! Say! 7 performance on Shounen Club that he finally notices him.
Of course, he knew about Ya-ya-yah. Of course, he knew about the current golden boy of Johnny’s Juniors. But of course, he never cared enough to know anything more.
Yabu stands at the center during the introduction, flanked by the ever-present Shoon on one side and Hikaru and Taiyo on the other side. His features are still young, the high cheek bones and unreadable gaze still prominent after six years of being in the business. His stance speaks of confidence and pride, head held high, stance tall and strong in an almost disarming way. But when his eyes flicker towards his, he can see how worn they are, how the years of leadership and guidance have chipped away at the soul of this soon-to-be man.
And for a instant, Takaki loses himself in the sheer hopelessness in Yabu’s eyes.
AN: First fanfic I've written in a couple years, so forgive me if I'm rusty. This was actually supposed to be only ONE one-shot to a prompt lrigelbbub gave to me as a favor but in the end, it started turning into a series of smaller one-shots...hopefully, someday it'll actually get to the original prompt because I really love the original. So thank you, lrigelbbub, for the prompt, I owe you one!
It seems like it's going to be developing for a while so bear with me. I love these two to death so naturally, seeing them TOGETHER makes my inner fangirl purr, *_*. But yeah, like I said, no immediate pairage, I like things that develop over time...after all, the best relationships take time, right?That being said, I hope you enjoy!
Oh and if there are flames, could you do me a favor and make them as least critical? All writing gets better under a critical eye. So I'll take all the advice I can get.
