Yesterday I happened upon "chicken sexing" twice while reading. I had never heard of this before.

I'm slightly worried that this says something about my choices in reading material, although I really don't think it does. The problem is, I don't know what the hell it means at all, and I like things to have meanings.

Sexing an animal generally means determining it's sex...so I suppose figuring out whether you have a boy or a girl chicken.

Yeah. Apparently this is a big thing to do in Australia and that it's incredibly difficult to determine the sex of chicks--at least, this is according to a kind-of skeezy character in a book of short stories I'm reading.
