I want to comment on this, but can't right now cause it's getting late and I have a migraine. But leaving this here so I remember to return. =)

Also if you have any more concrete thoughts on where you might want to go, please feel free to discuss. I think both Frankfurt and Mannheim are good for business but there are probably a lot more options. One of my classmates left to study it in Munich & as far as I can tell he quite enjoys it.

Thank you so much for this! I honestly know nil about the different parts of Germany except for their football teams lol. I would like to live somewhere that is quite "suburban", like a split between city and town. I'll look into your suggestions, though! :D

Well there are a lot of parts and they're all different. XD I live on the edge of my city, so there's lots of nature here & this used to actually be a little fishing village way before the city was founded. Aka it's like 500 years older. But it was merged into the city in 1920. I like it here because you have access to the city to do stuff as you like but you're also not really in it, if that makes sense. Also lol when I tell people who live in other parts where I live they're like ...WHAT? Never heard of it. But anyway there are a lot of places in varying sizes, so I'm sure you could find something you'd like ( ... )
