Stopping by to say I agree with your stances in stupid_free! I'm an atheist, and I hate the shit people get when they simply point out that they find the concept of God-as-intercessor offensive!
That dismissive tone everyone takes when there's an unpopular opinion is really one of the reasons I can't stand the community. (But I keep going back.)
Haha...yeah, it was definitely a gang-up approach from a lot of people, but I half-expected it. I just felt frustrated by the short-shrift being given to the position of anti-theism and therefore tried to comment in a rational manner. That seemed to have, by and far, failed. lol
