I've taken care of the current journal entry and I think I have found a way to lock him out of the system for the next twenty four hours, although I am not positive that it will work. It is also possible that he could just use another member of the CLF's journal.

I am monitoring the journal network for any further activity.

If you spoke to Elashte, then you know I got reason to believe that the CLF is getting outside funding. From our local favorites, the Barnams. I could wander off into a tangent about their current politics, but when it comes to this subject, it doesn't really matter

Every other time the head of the CLF has been killed or has disappeared, it's gone to ground for a few months and than sprung back up, a bit different, but as virulent as ever. If they're getting outside funding, that makes me think that their benefactors might see their way to installing a figurehead if their convenient patsy gets outpictured. No. I know it's a long shot, but I want a way to shut them down for good.

I've got some contacts in the less-reputable areas of town that I can follow up with. I also know a couple of reliable information dealers, and I'll see what I can buy off them as well. I think I can impress on them to keep their mouths shut, one way or the other.

I'll do what I can to get a psychic trace on the person who attacked Iris as well, although I'll need a day or two to prep so I don't crash as badly as I did last time. If I play things right, I can pace myself out over several days and rest at night, which will minimize recovery time.

Mercury, your healing abilities might help reduce the effects of psychic burnout. I'll contact you if I need you.

Ianto, I'm going to try to do the best I can to keep any psychic pain from leaking out, but I might not be able to block it all and you're the person that's most likely to feel it if I can't. If you start getting a headache while I'm using my powers, a drink or two should take the edge off.
