i fucking hate everything

First week of second shift went ok considering almost everyone else is a new hire and still learning.

My dad had minor back surgery two days ago. He seems to be recovering ok from what little I've been told.

It's my birthday tomorrow and plans are all falling through.

I'm not having a great day and I'm really depressed.

I know I'm behind on comments and such. Work takes a lot out of me. But it's getting better; I got a QA job. Left work an hour early yesterday because my back pain was interfering with my ability to do my job. So I worked eight hours instead of nine. Today I was there for nine but worked bread prep instead of on the line. I'm still really stiff and sore. Ok more than sore. But my family needs me to work. So I have to suck it up and tough it out. Working nine-hour days sucks.

First day of work was long, cold, and hard on my muscles, but overall uneventful. Hopefully today won't be nine hours again and my body will adjust quickly to the new strain. I'm not really sore this morning so I think that's a good sign. Bringing Tylenol just in case.

ALBA GU BRÀTH

One of the downsides of my husband going camping all week is that allllll the housework and childcare and ogodno cooking fall to me. I hate washing dishes, I lack confidence in my cooking abilities, house cleaning makes me incredibly stressed and anxious, the kids can be frustrating and overwhelming...*gggggrrrrroooooaaaaannnnn*

My husband left yesterday for a week long camping trip. My kids are on their way to school. Mom is coming to visit at some point today. I'm still wondering what I'm going to do with myself all week.

DQ hasn't even called. It's been almost a week. Guess temp agency is my only option.
