Ooh, that's another one I've not read. Yes, he does!

It's interesting!

Also, Waiting for Godot is good. Not Shakespeare, but still a good one.

Oddly enough, I'm not terribly familiar with modern plays. Musicals, yes, but not regular dramas.

....A cat. On a leash.

Hmm, I suppose Macbeth. I prefer opera and ballet, personally.

Yes, well, she's not very bright and would most certainly go haring off and vanish altogether if I didn't attach her to something stationary.

Ooh, I love ballet. Can't seem to get into opera, though.

That's....very strange. I'm trying to picture a cat on a leash, and it's just not getting there :D

Ballet is wonderful, I've seen it when I was evil and liked it. Can't see much of it anymore. People who'd insist on coming with me have the attention span of a small insect.

Shakespeare is stupid.

Quite a bit of it, actually. I like him.

I am not sure of my favorite play by Shakespeare. I think all of them are very good!

Which one would you go back and read again first?

gen_tle_man March 26 2008, 02:53:39 UTC
Hmmm...I would say Macbeth.

That seems to be a popular favourite.

She seems.... really weird. It's like she's the definition of 'dumb blonde' or something like that. Not that I'm saying all blondes are dumb, though.

I haven't read much of Shakespeare, but I really liked Macbeth.

No, you think? She's my husband's ex-girlfriend, who's meant to be dead, and seems to think she can win him back by calling him ridiculous nicknames, or something. Bint.

I need to actually read that one. I've read bits of it, and seen bits performed, but I've never actually read the entire thing.

..... She's supposed to be dead?

It's really good! And on a non-Shakespeare note, The Crucible is probably my favorite play.

Got herself killed last June. We've no idea how she ended up alive again.

Ooh, that one I've read! I quite enjoyed it.
