Dear Mr Lestrange,

Lucius is quite correct in his assumption although I must inquire as to the quantities you need before sending you anything.

The boomslang skin might be better acquired from elsewhere as I do tend towards only dealing with flora. I can get it but it might be faster if you went to the suppliers yourself - I can provide a list of suitable, circumspect people if you need it.

I take it that the supplies are needed for polyjuice potion? If so, may I enquire as to the subject's colouring as this will affect which particular fluxweed plants I'd be best sending.

Yours,

Dahlia Yaxley

Dear Miss Yaxley,

Small quantities. I'm brewing the potion only for myself and only for short-term use.

I'm terribly sorry, Miss Yaxley. I was misinformed as to the characteristics of boomslang skin. Rest assured in the future I shall be more thorough with my research and not take Lucius's word on it.

Yes. The subject is in his mid-forties, Caucasian, with dark hair and eyes. Does that help?

Yours,
Rabastan Lestrange.

Dear Mr Lestrange,

Thank you, I believe I have suitable amounts ready prepared. It would be wiser if you came to collect them in person though as knotgrass is quite delicate when dried and does not travel by owl well.

I would suggest not taking Lucius' word at face value with anything to do with research. While he is quite good at Potions; I'm all too well aware of what he was actually doing during those lessons to trust his recollections without double checking. You might want to do the same.

It does help, thank you.

Yours,
Dahlia Yaxley

Miss Yaxley,

Where do you suggest meeting?

I will remember that in future. Sometimes I forget myself and Lucius has been so eager to help but that is really no excuse.

Yours,
Rabastan Lestrange.

=Reads over his shoulder= An extremely business-like letter, Rabastan. You don't have to be so formal with Dahlia. She liked you, you know...

And I approve even more that your young man can be so cordial, Lucius. It never harms to be polite, you know.

=Raises an eyebrow= He's almost family, there is no need.

You're only saying that so it means that you don't have to be nice when my brother's around, aren't you?

Polyjuice? Wouldn't it be easier to just crash Slug's cabinet?

I suppose it would be, had I not left school this summer and neglected to take any polyjuice with me.

*blinks* Now I'm confused: in 1977 they're supposed to still be at school... At least Barty is! And since Rabastan is supposed to be in his year...
Please tell me that you didn't follow the timeline! I already complained the dates were wrong, but the change just made Barty graduate at the age of 16, or something.

If you have problems like this I would much prefer you emailed me rather than commented like this.

I am using the timeline by JK Rowling as best I can. I'm sorry we seem to have misunderstood which year Barty and Rabastan were in. Rabastan is in the year graduating summer of 1977.
