*blinks* Puddleduckling? Now, that's a first. Who are you usually calling that? *pauses* Do I even want to know?

*remembers that there'd been a question* Well, in most cases I'm being the one executing the oppressing, so my answer must be a 'no', I suppose.

Ah, calling Gideon ridiculous sweetheart names is obviously the best strategy to through him off-balance! :DDD

No one... well, perhaps I called Regullus that... but I don't think so. It might've been a different form.

Oooh, do you like oppressing? Is it fun? I'd think I'd like to opress some time.

May I oppress you?

*oppresses*

Haha!! it's part of Gildy's charm :)

Should I be honored in that case that you invented it just for me, on the spur of the moment?

Well, it depends on the oppressee and how your likes converge with their behaviour. If they protest, and you like protesting, it should be gratifying.

You could always try, but I might try to resist.

*resists*

He's such a brilliant tosser - of his head = hair, of course. :D

Seeking out an underground movement to undermine your work, Prewett?

*raises his eyebrows in return*
I'm simply researching what I'm confronted with on an almost weekly basis now, and the lack of information on censorship in the wizarding world is quite appaling.

(salts his bland with just a hint of skepticism)
And, of course, you're the kind of person who'll react only passively to something you're confronted with on a weekly basis.

Of course! Don't tell me you doubt that, Snape.

Hmm, quite clever.
How is it working out for you.

More clever than 'quite', really! :-)

Working out for me in what sense? The research bit?

Hee. :)

Just generally, life and work.
What is your research?

*is somewhat mystified by her behaviour*
Generally good. My research in this case is trying to find out what the wizarding world has to say on the topic of censorship. And I had to find out that they hardly have to say anything, hence my reverting to the Muggle parts of the British Library and starting out there.

Yes, this conversation couldn't take place "for real", at least not at the time the parchment was written. :)
