It would be very useful, Narcissa. =smiles= We can print whatever we want, for ourselves or...

*nods, a smile playing at her lips*
Yes, very useful. For us and for certain causes.

Certain worthy causes.

You think it's a wise venture, Narcissa?

I really loved that production of The Importance of Breeding. It's my favourite play.

It is? =Smiles proudly= I thought the script was excellent as soon as I saw it. It was a wonderful stage production, don't you think?

It is, and you know it is. *glances at him, smiling back* It was, and I was so impressed you got so many of the actors to star in the wireless production.

It took some doing, but most agreed. They seemed to know that it was a good thing to be in on. I thought the wireless production really expanded on the original production.

You're getting subtle in your old age, Lucius.

What kind of magazine is WAND, Mr Malfoy? The title has made me rather curious.

I very popular men's magazine, Regulus. =considers the boy= In fact, would you be interested in doing a double page spread for us?

Reply

favourite_son April 15 2007, 18:53:48 UTC
Is it very popular? You'd be wanting my opinions and suchlike, yes? I'm sure I could find enough to fill two pages.

It is one of the best selling Men's magazines in the country, Regulus. I'm sure you would be able to fill two pages... but to give you an idea, would you like me to get you one of the back-copies? We ran a special on Quidditch Players a couple of months ago...

Lucius, the Prophet is a tool of the Death Eaters, albeit unknowingly. There is no need to buy the lot of us.

The titles listed in the header are a total rage! :D

That wasn't exactly my purpose, Gideon.

Although, I suppose if I do buy-out all of the other shareholders, it means you and your collegues get a fairer wage, won't they? Without the all those shareholders getting a bonus for your hard work?

hexed_gideon April 16 2007, 07:09:31 UTC
What was your purpose, then?

Would you change it that way? All in all, I have the suspicion that I'd find myself out of a job fairly soon if you came to own the Prophet.

Well, I wasn't going to admit it, Gideon, least of all to you, but I think I'd enjoy chasing you around the office.

Gideon! We're old school-friends. Just because a business has changed hands does not mean that the new owner is going to fire staff that have been loyal and hard workers. Although I do think you all deserve a raise.
