(packs--rather quickly for a spur-of-the-moment thing--then goes up to the Manor owlery to write and send several letters, drops a note or two and a couple of things in places they'll be found, and walks out the door with his things shrunk in his pocket, all with a completely blank expression)
The biscuits are sweet (in that horrible way, of course), but it's the vampirism that's really wibbly. I wonder whether the potion had any effect on her through the blood.
