I think a lot of us share the fantasy that Rusty will leave. I haven't even had the heart to start watching the newest season (which is the fourth, not the fifth, iirc), because i don't want to watch the same old plot over and over again.

Say it isn't so!

I've loved every episode of the new series so far (especially those penned by Davies - in particular last season's three episode finale), and I found The Sontaaran Strategem and The Poison Sky to be the best two episodes so far this season. :(

I agree with you. Those two are good episodes. I just don't like how the Sontarans look and am growing tired of the deus ex machina resolutions.

Not only deus ex machina, but also that everything gets solved and neatly tied up in like, the last 8 minutes of the episode.
