On this day in 1873, Melvil Dewey, a student at Amherst College in Amherst Massachusetts, proposed an novel decimal-based system for organizing and cataloguing Amherst's library. Well, try finding a book you're looking for without any kind of a system for organization.

Have you used BTJunkie (btjunkie.org)? It seems to always get more results for me although I tend to use both when I'm trying to find something specific.
