What's up with that. Discussion is a vital part to a active community! We did have those weekend spams but they kind of... failed. So here we go:

What do you guys do in your games for fun? Challenges? Do you have a household that you can just play for hours without getting bored? Do you make some random ( Read more... )

Haha, I apologize for not partaking more, my computer's been acting up and I was afraid to run Sims for fear it would freeze or otherwise die and my progress would be ruined. But it's getting fixed now, so I should eventually be able to participate a bit. I hope so, anyway ( ... )

There are things I love about Sims 2 and things I love about Sims 3. I think the game play of Sims 3 is much more convenient and it has some really great features, but... Sims 2 is Sims 2. ;w; Sims 2 is love.

To me the most fun is building (designing) houses... I do that a lot more than I actually play the game hahah. Making custom content is the second most fun!

I'd fail at building houses, however, decorating them is hella fun <3

I've been playing the Sims Medieval lately, which is similar to the other Sims games, but it's more rpg-based. I made all the Hetalia characters into Heroes in the game, and it's just... fucking entertaining.

If you haven't given Sims Medieval a go, it's so worth it.

When I graduate and get $$$ and a new computer, I'm definitely buying Sims 3. ;w; As of now, it doesn't agree with my dinosaur desktop =P

I also apologise for not partaking more, been a little busy, coursework piling on top of me. :P
But I do mostly challenges, yes. I do legacy challenges in my main neighbourhood, while in sim-anime-land, I have an asylum challenge going on with my Code Geass sims (More on that in my journal), and been using my Death Note sims to re-enact a certain trollfic that's been going around. My Hetalia sims, self-imposed challenge of making France reach his lifetime want.

All in all, fun fun fun when I have the time. It's surprising how much more entertaining it is when your sims are fandom-based. Or perhaps that's just me being a dork. :P

Ahah, I fail at finding enough time to play the sims these days.
But what make a good game to me is either using characters from fandom (seriously. France and England are so awesome in the sims3) and just.. mess with them a lot 8D or playing with random sims, but make it haaaaaaaaaard. It's more fun that way. Like, a household with an adult and his/her three or four children 8D No cheats. That's how I have my fun~

I guess you have different sort of fun depending on what sims game you are playing. =3 (I could kill to try the sims Medieval. Seriously.)

(also I apologize for the surely fail!English, apparently it doesn't want to sound correct today.)
