Plushies: Real vs. Fake [UPDATED 04/01/11]

 Hey everyone! I'm back with another bootleg guide~

I managed to acquire an authentic America plush at Wizard World over the summer. And today while at one of the local malls, I stumbled upon a bootleg America plush. So the minute I got home I took comparison pictures!

Note- this is for one of the bootleg sets. There are three different sets, but

There are actually about three sets of bootleg plushies. All the first "series", but.

One's the keychain ones you're talking about, another's higher quality but missing Germany, and yet another has Germany without the keychain.
... And then there's a China that can apparently be fully stripped.

Uploading some photos of my own bootlegs right now.

Okay, Here you can see America and Romano from the set I have, along with a China from the set you're showing. The hang tag's pretty different. Also the height.

This bootleg set, though, their tush tags are a little more accurate. Here's the bootleg America with my legit Russia. They took the same design, but, definitely failed at getting it printed clearly.

Japan's somewhere upstairs, but apart from him, here's all the bootlegs in this set.
