[News & Questions] Commission fee introduced to FromJapan + looking for other proxy options

It's a bit general, but considering the amount of Hetalia fans who use FromJapan, I thought it would be relevant to post up information on the new commission price introduced to FromJapan shopping's service as it will affect quite a few members. So I hope this is okay! Please tell me if I should delete/move this elsewhere.

Technically FromJapan was never free though. You still had a 5% fee tacked on every time you paid a charge 1 or 2 payment unless you bought FJ points. Although this new fee will change how much I bid with FJ, I've used far worse proxies. The first one I used charged an 800 yen flat fee plus an 8% fee per auction. Not only that, 4% of your deposit was taken as a fee too so you had to deposit extra just so you would have enough to bid. Worst of all, EMS was your only shipping choice (I usually use SAL or surface mail). Compared to that FJ's still worth it as long as you don't want adult items.

A 200 yen rate per item IS going to hurt every order under 1,000 yen. I was never able to use FJ, though, so I'm not really feeling the loss |D;

Now, if it's a 200 yen rate per auction, that's still more convenient than every other proxy service that I know out there; better to resort to multiple items auctions, then xD
