There seems to be a lot of issues with this new rule. I understand that it is new, and that some people may have missed my initial post of the rule. I have decided to post here to remind everyone and to hopefully clear up a lot of confusion. I've ( Read more... )

You know I'm always fully supporting this~ =w=b

It takes one minute, max, to copy some html and put it in the post.
A real cut's always nicer than a fake cut~

Your sales post is the best example of how to have a 'mostly-Hetalia but with a few other items' sort of post. \o/

The worst ones are the ones with three Hetalia items mixed into a ton of J-pop crap, or when everything is sorted by type (files, posters, stickers, etc.) so you're forced to look through everything to pick out the Hetalia merch. D:

Exactly- they aren't Walmart selling to a general public, they are selling to specific fandoms. I've never understood why people would think it's a smart idea to combine all their Naruto, Hetalia, Vampire Knight, etc merchandise into one big mess. :/

Over all, I'm happy to see this rule. Buyers shouldn't have to play "Where's the Hetalia merch?" or scroll through 12 different fandoms to find the three Hetalia products buried in the middle of the post.

I like this rule, but I do think that there should be a little lee-way like what was said above 80 percent hetalia merch sounds great. I've already separated my hetalia stuff from the others simply because I sell so much hetalia, but occasionally I do throw in an item that isn't simply because I don't want to make a new post for 1-5 items since my current posts generally have around 70+ items in them. I do think the post should be very obviously dominated by hetalia though.

I don't think percentage matter as long to give an easy access to it. I mean unless it's like 1-3 small items, it's better to post them on the comm.

I have 45% Hetalia but it is the first fandom and the most dominant fandom there you see in my doujinshi section.

45% Hetalia? No offense, but that is way too little.

I know it is a lot more convenient for you to keep every doujin you sell on a super page, but the whole point of the rule is so that people will only post sales focusing primarily on Hetalia merchandise. Like I said, this is not a place you can promote your other fandom merchandise. We'll let around 10-25% go for seller's convenience sake, but no more than that.

Please, try to think of the buyer here. Even if it is on top, the buyer will have to scroll through the rest of your items to post a reply or to check the posts to see if the item is still around.

Considering that I organized my page so that each fandom has its own section, I doubt it.

I think you are given a way too little credit for most seller there. It's RARE I find a seller who is completely disorganized like that.

But you also have to give consideration for your sellers also. It's nice to think about the customers but the sellers shouldn't be stunted out of that.

I wish I had that gif of the man clapping. But anyways. Love the new rule.

My only issue is the 'suggestions' there be leeway on the posting of other fandom items. I mean, most of us here are looking for Hetalia Merchandise. If I wanted, say Pokemon Merchandise, I go to the Pokemon comms. If there has to be leeway, why not 10% other fandom and 90% Hetalia? That way some of us can trust when we click a link that even if there is other stuff, it will only be a single photo instead of eons of scrolling past random stuff to get to the two Hetalia bookmarks at the bottom.

Not 75%/25% where we still have to see other things like people's clothes and such. Because 75% is still sort of a low number and people can abuse that really easily.

25% non-Hetalia seems like a good maximum, absolute worst case. But yeah. 10%'s nicer, and honestly? 5% would be even better.

Only needing 9 Hetalia items in a post to allow a non-Hetalia item in? It seems possible to push, too, if sellers get picky and count individual trading cards...

Honestly, thinking of Pokemon, I'd seriously love a Hetalia comm as strict with sales as pkmncollectors. But. That might just be me.

0% Would suit me fine but you know... I come here only for Hetalia. Nothing else.

I would be down on that but like you said, what if Trading cards came in to use. Or bookmarks. Or any small thing. Personally, I don't see a problem with just making a post here on Hetalia_sell full of only Hetalia items but I guess there's objections :P

FFFFFF I can't go there. I get so sad seeing all these things I want so bad but cannot spend my money on xD

Yeah, really. If we want non-hetalia stuff, we go to different comms. The point of a community being based on one thing is for the posts to be based on that same thing. @__@
I'm perfectly content with those posts where there's non-hetalia stuff in the photos, but only the hetalia items from said picture are being sold. But. Not when the non-hetalia items are what people want to sell.

You can't sell Hetalia at any other fandom-specific sales comm, so why should that stuff be allowed here?

Any and all loopholes in any rule will almost always be fully exploited. @__@
I could almost guarantee a 10% non-hetalia limit would lead to a photo of 90-ish Hetalia cards, followed by ten photos of items from other fandoms.

Though. That makes me wonder. If maybe non hetalia items shouldn't be allowed in a percentage, so much as like. Max 5 items, must be all shown in a single picture? One non-hetalia image, per post. I guess.
I know one exception to sales comms is usually that off-topic items are allowed in a freebies pile... But. Ehh.

I swear ( ... )
