I AM the hero!

It's All About YOU
Name or Nickname: Christine. In some corners of the interwebs, I go by Kay.
Gender: Lady. Just not as ladylike.
What do you LOVE?: Baking/sweets, especially with chocolate or with unusual flavors. Exotic food. Fresh and/or pickled ginger. Tomatoes. My classes at culinary school. Video games. Writing fiction and NaNoWriMo. Writing something with a convoluted, out of chronological order plot. COFFEE and gummy bears. Crime dramas. My job at a cupcake bakery. PUPPIES and DOGGIES. Well-written erotica and pretty lady bodies. Old cartoons that I grew up watching.
And what do you HATE?: Drunkenness and drug addictions. Poorly-written erotica. Raw onions. People who mispronounce my name or call me Christina. Mornings. Slow-walking people in front of me. Hatred, if you'll excuse the irony. Egomaniac classmates who think they'll turn into the next Iron Chef straight out of school. FUCKING WISDOM TEETH.
Strengths: I actually care about what I do and want to do well. My grades in school have always been good. I'm also a good listener and people confide in me. Also, I can BAKE.
Weaknesses: I have issues with anxiety and depression that pop up when I'm at school or work sometimes, but I am making progress with working on them. With my writing, I can't seem to finish most of the stories that I start, or get started on most of the ideas that pop into my head. Being a good listener also means that I'm a very quiet person, which makes me come across as distant or shy. Working in sales and foodservice also helps this, but it still shows.

Hobbies: Writing and reading almost anything. Baking, making sweets and collecting recipes. Watching TV, usually a Law and Order rerun or whatever's on the Food Network. Window-shopping. Playing video games, lately Pokemon.
Favorite Color: Orange!
What is your favorite food?: Macaroni and cheese! Especially spicy, it's the ultimate comfort food. Also fresh ginger, as mentioned above. Fresh ginger ice cream is amazing.
Favorite Country (without taking Hetalia into consideration): I like it here in the US a lot, but most interesting country would probably go to Argentina.
Mature or Childish?: Depends on who I'm with. Around most people I'm quiet and mature, but the more familiar I am with someone I feel more comfortable with coming out of my shell and making jokes, sometimes perverted, and poking fun at them.
Would you prefer to lead or follow?: Lead. As shy as I am I usually end up following, especially when I'm at school in the kitchens. But if I really know what I'm doing I like to take charge just to make sure everything turns out the way I picture it.

Let's Talk HETALIA
Favorite Character and WHY: America. He's so exaggerated that it's hilarious. I love poking fun at my country. Also Hungary, she's a cute little pervert.
Is there a certain strip that really sticks out for you?: Not really.
Hamburgers or Tea OR MAPLE SYRUP?: Coffee?
Who dresses the best in the series? ♥: Austria of course. Even though I personally choose much more casual clothes.
America/Alfred wants to watch a scary movie! Which one would you pick?: Turistas! Or Hostel. Any movie that features tortured American tourists just to see him freak out.
How about a favorite ship/couple?: Austria/Hungary is cute, but I like any pairing that features at least one woman. Slash just isn't my thing.

AND A LITTLE MORE~
Do you believe in spirits or ghosts?: I believe they're a possibility, but I haven't experienced any evidence either way.
You're at war! Do you take the enemy head-on with full force or lay back and take time to tactically move your forces?: Strategy is good.
You have to be transported to a deserted island! Oh no! You're allowed to take three items; what are these items?: Pen and paper for writing and a really sharp knife that can be used for anything. Sounds like a cool story already.
Please describe how you look or share a picture if you have one: I'm on the short side with extra weight on me. I have brown shoulder-length hair and fair skin, but don't exactly look like a ghost, and dark brown eyes. I'm just small and babyfaced enough to pass for 14-16, apparently, even though I'm actually turning 20.

Any final words?: I regret that I have but one... no wait, wrong last words.
Would you be so kind as to link those surveys you voted on before posting this?: If you insist!
Oh, can I see your vital regions?: Show me yours first! Wait, shouldn't you at least try to buy me a drink before asking that?
