Your friend needs money. Would you give it to them as a gift, loan it to them and expect money back, or just not give them any? Why? Depends on the situation. It'll always go between gifting and loaning. If I have the money I always help out a friend. I will more often gift than loan I think. But somtimes friends demand to pay me back so if they feel the need to pay me back I let them though sometimes I say "I want payments in fanfics instead" XDDDD
