It's All About YOU
Name or Nickname: John, although most people call me by my last name so as not to confuse me with the three or four other Johns that might be around.
Gender: Male.
What do you LOVE?: Being with people that I care about, doing new things and making new memories, doing the same old things and feeling comfortable with them, making someone happy, anime, music, the random joy that is the intarwebs, cute things (...girls included X3), a good night's sleep, compliments, the stars, the ocean, Autumn.
And what do you HATE?: Being told what to do, being ignored, feeling lonely/alone, pretentious people, feeling disrespected, feeling helpless in a situation, painful memories.
Strengths: I'd like to think that I am a creative person, and that I have made things that have entertained or spoken to the people that have seen my work (I'm a game designer.) I can be a very good/close friend to the people that I care about - when they're unhappy, I'm unhappy, so I like to bring up the people around me. I have a very random sense of humor that comes out around the right people. I'm generally a pretty resilient person - I take the time to be hurt when I feel that way, but I don't let it stop me. I try to use those experiences and grow from them. I tend to be a protective person, I like the feeling of taking care of someone (although some people might consider that a weakness. ^^;)
Weaknesses: Meeting people. I feel like I must give off a scary or unapproachable impression, people rarely speak to me unless I speak to them first. I swear I'm actually a nice person, I can't help how I look. ^^; When left to my own devices, I know I'm too shy and reserved. It's that feeling of, say, seeing a bunch of people having fun together at a convention and thinking "I sure would like to be a part of that!" ... while continuing to sit by yourself. Sometimes I feel like the quiet part of me is a front that I keep up to hide the more colorful side. Because what if people don't like that person? The more unique you are, the easier it is for people to find that off putting. I tend to care about things a lot, it can make me prone to worrying too much.
Hobbies: Playing guitar, composing, drawing, writing, playing videogames (it's called "research" when I do it. 8D), watching entirely too much anime, reading, etc.
Favorite Color: I like black and orange, a lot.
What is your favorite food?: If I had to pick only one, I guess I would say pizza. But I like to have a somewhat broad palette, it's mostly limited by things that I can't eat, like spicy things or overly acidic stuff. Sometimes I miss the days when I could eat chocolate without getting migraines. XD
Favorite Country (without taking Hetalia into consideration): I like the US well enough, I've traveled all over it - but not outside of it, yet - so I don't have a good basis for comparison.
Mature or Childish?: I'm generally pretty mature in most situations. For example, at work, I'm mostly quiet and to the point, doing things that need to be done. My more animated side only comes out around the people I'm close with, in situations where I feel like it's ok to let my guard down a bit.
Would you prefer to lead or follow?: Mostly I prefer to be left to my own devices, doing things my own way. If need be, I will take the lead on things in order to ensure that they get done, but I don't feel the need for leadership like some people do.

Favorite Character and WHY: I am partial to Rome - so random! Austria has his moments as well. There are times that I wish I could play piano upon the sea... without drowning.

Who dresses the best in the series? ♥: For the women, Taiwan. For the men, Austria.
America/Alfred wants to watch a scary movie! Which one would you pick?: I'm not sure which one I would pick exactly, but I think I'd go along with something that is a campy horror movie. Those movies are so much better to watch with friends, because it gives you something to laugh about.
How about a favorite ship/couple?: Anyone + France is amusing to me.

You're at war! Do you take the enemy head-on with full force or lay back and take time to tactically move your forces?: Tactically. I'm not really big into getting into fights, but if the situation occurs, I will defend myself in such a way that the person who attacked me will think very carefully about repeating their mistake, if they think about it at all.
You have to be transported to a deserted island! Oh no! You're allowed to take three items; what are these items?: A time machine, to transport me back to before I got stranded on the island. And then... well, I guess I don't really need anything else. At the point at which you have something like that, just think of all the amazing fun you'd get to have with it!
