It's All About YOU
Name or Nickname:
kaneha, Michelle, whatever
Gender: two of my chromosomes are the same which actually doesn't tell you anything, unless you assume that I only have 2 chromosomes. Which I do
What do you LOVE?:
- science (mostly chem and bio...which you can probably tell by response to the 'gender' question)
- history, especially military
- grey, drizzly weather
- orderly things, thing having a place
- getting up before daybreak
- old libraries
And what do you HATE?:
- loud/annoying/incompetent/ignorant people
- CNN/Fox/American 24 hour news networks
- geometry (most useless year of maths ever)
- my personal space being violated
- when people are late, especially when they try to make up an excuse
- pda
Strengths:
mature/responsible, perfectionist-ish tendencies, level-headed
Weaknesses:
anything to do with personal relationships, especially romantic, I fail miserably at. I don't like the idea of relinquishing control: the idea of trusting someone so completely is frankly frightening. I'm often told I can appear to be condescending and somewhat arrogant. Eh, I'm also fairly judgmental and tend hold grudges, which isn't a very good combination.
Hobbies:
Favorite Color: slate grey
What is your favorite food?: scones (but the good kind, not the sugary, doughy blobs that are usually sold in stores), nabeyaki udon, chicken feet, plain tofu, and stale sour-dough bread
stfu, I have weird taste in food
Favorite Country: I love Thai history and the language; same with Norway, Finland, and Scandinavia in general, and Russian history is fascinating
Mature or Childish?: mature; though I can be petty when it comes to grudges and though I think I'm more mature than some of my friends, I am a lot more childish around them.
Would you prefer to lead or follow?: follow, unless the leader is incompetent, in which case I'd be more than happy to take over.
Though, I guess, what I'd really like best is being the advisor to the leader; managing what goes on, but not having to be charismatic.
Let's Talk HETALIA
Favorite Character and WHY: er, Russia, I guess. I like how insane his history has made him, I guess.
Is there a certain strip that really sticks out for you?: Blood Sunday 1905 and Cleaning Out the Storage. Revolution related angst is good.
Hamburgers or Tea OR MAPLE SYRUP?: tea. Well-made hamburgers are good, but the greasy stuff in most restaurants is vomit-inducing and maple syrup is nauseatingly sweet.
Who dresses the best in the series? ♥: either Austria or Japan
America/Alfred wants to watch a scary movie! Which one would you pick?: I've never seen a scary movie that I thought was good. I mean, I've seen ones that make you jump and are gory, but never anything that is dread-inducing.
So, eh, Shawn of the Dead? It's a zombie movie, that counts as scary, right?
How about a favorite ship/couple?: mm...Russia/China and Prussia/Hungary are favourites, and I've warmed to US/UK so quickly it's slightly frightening.
AND A LITTLE MORE~
Do you believe in spirits or ghosts?: no, I don't like the idea of believing in something that I have no evidence of.
You're at war! Do you take the enemy head-on with full force or lay back and take time to tactically move your forces?: Tactics! Wars cannot be won, especially nowadays, by brute force alone. (also, my strategy would ideally include some form of negotiation for their surrender)
You have to be transported to a deserted island! Oh no! You're allowed to take three items; what are these items?: a GPS to map out the resources on the island, er...can I say the Ten Essentials? grammatically, it's singular, and a satphone in case things go really, really wrong.
Please describe how you look or share a picture if you have one:
*cough* no, I'm definitely not trying to use a frisbee as a tennis racket
Any final words?:
"A Frenchman is self-assured because he regards himself personally, both in mind and body, as irresistibly attractive to men and women.
An Englishman is self-assured, as being a citizen of the best-organized state in the world, and therefore as an Englishman always knows what he should do and knows that all he does as an Englishman is undoubtedly correct.
An Italian is self-assured because he is excitable and easily forgets himself and other people.
A Russian is self-assured just because he knows nothing and does not want to know anything, since he does not believe that anything can be known.
The German's self-assurance is worst of all, stronger and more repulsive than any other, because he imagines that he knows the truth--science--which he himself has invented but which is for him the absolute truth."
-War and Peace, Leo Tolstoy
Would you be so kind as to link those surveys you voted on before posting this?:
