LOL, TRUE Depp fans care not for the presentation, but for the content that is Mr. Depp. If they don't like the franchise, understandable, but I've met hardcore Depp fans and let me assure you, the they watch EVERYTHING (with near fanatical enthusiasm...it's actually quite frightening).

Case in point: my aunt. She dragged us all with her to go and watch it, and everyone was ranting about how mediocre it was while she just melted into a pile of goo whenever Mr. Depp got on screen. I, on the other hand, kept myself busy with popcorn and the cream puff Captain Jack eyes in the beginning and how there are Spaniards and Englishmen. And all I could think of was "A Tale In The Pacific". >_>
