This is what postcolonial theory does to you.

The major major thing is cultural. We've all got moments where we repeat words when we speak English because we repeat words when we speak Filipino. We aren't supposed to be judged for that. It's like discriminating against an Indian speaking English because his accent is funny.

Unfortunately, the world doesn't think like this. If it did, Hong Kong wouldn't have banned an entire country's population from going there. So...yeah. I'm just glad we got in top 5 but seriously...

There's one thing I'm truly glad about this news. She made us all smile even with the devastating news about the hostage taking (it still hurts though that HK banned all Pinoys), either from her answer (LOL in a major major way) or from the fact she got into the Top 5.
