Original Request: Canada is the home to many things, among them, GreenPeace, and an effort to save the world from global warming and the destruction of many plant and animal species. (YES, GreenPeace is Canadian.) Anyway, Matthew, to me, seems the type who is really close to nature. And, I just thought, maybe Matthew kind of goes a little loopy one day, and realizes he's a shaman.
Right. He talks to the wind and the rivers, and channels spirits, and dons feathers and beads and paint and dances and sings and chants and everything. It could have been brought on through his continued efforts to keep the Native traditions from dying. In his quest to preserve all the unique Native and Inuit cultures in Canada, Matthew falls in love with them.
"Because," as Matthew points out to a fellow Nation, "We aren't just representations of our people, but of our land as well." (I think I just want some Mattie in feathers. Just two, tied up in his hair. Maybe some beads. >.> )
BONUSES:
+Canada spends some time up in the sub-arctic, singing Inuit songs and getting in-tune with nature again.
