[part nine: fill] The familiar stranger [Benton Frasier, Ray Vecchio]

Title: The familiar stranger
Author: Anon.
Type: Art.
Status: Incomplete.
Characters, Pairings: Benton Frasier, Ray Vecchio
Rating: 1 Star.

Original Request: This Canadian!Anon remembers Due South. It was that show about the Mountie who ended up in Chicago trailing his fathers killer, but ends up staying after he makes friends with a detective.

It was a great show, and this anon hooked her American!boyfriend on it. >D And we both agree that America and Canada would be on that stuff like syrup on pancakes.

So, I humbly request this: some kind of crossover with Due South. Whether it's a cross-over (aka, Benton Frasier and Ray Vecchio/Ray Kowalski run into and interact with America and Canada in some way), or a cross-fusion (aka, Canada is Frasier, and America is Vecchio/Kowalski. Bonuses here is Kumajiro is Diefenbaker)is up to the author!anon.

Bonuses:
+Leslie Neilsen (aka Sergeant Duncan "Buck" Frobishir) or Amanda Tapping's character (from the season 2 episode "Starman", in which she plays an agent working of a secret government organization looking for extra terrestrial life. [Too much like her other role as Samantha Carter from SG-1 much?]) appear.
+True to the series, Frasier/Canada stays pristine and clean, even after digging through filth, Vecchio always gets dirty, and Diefenbaker gets the girl in the end.
+Frasier/Canada tastes something off the ground to get a lead.
+Vecchio/America gets held at gun point several times.
+Canada comments to America at some point about 'how Chicago looks a lot like Vancouver'. (Inside joke, since the series was Canadian, and a lot of it was filmed in Vancouver in lieu of Chicago.)

Notes: Crossover with Due South.

Summary: It is important to follow your local speed limits.
