1. Andouillette - Here’s the thing - andouillette is sometimes confused with Andouille (another type of French sausage, but can also be slang for idiot.). So I’m not sure if Himaruya mixed up the terms or if France is actually calling England an andouillette...? (Any French speakers want to comment on this?)
*EDIT: "Andouillette" can be used as a diminuitive form of "andouille", but "andouille" is technically correct - thanks, little_bakemono!*
2. Lyon - the second largest urban area in France and the origin of andouillette.
3. “mutual destruction” - the word used here is “tomodaore,” which can mean either “mutual destruction” or “joint bankruptcy”.
