Hi everyone !
This thread is dedicated to discussions about World Stars chapters, feel free to bring up any point no matter how old the chapter might seem to be, discussions are always gratifying.

Thank you for making this thread.

It's nice to have a neat list of what was what, since a couple of people don't like the emperors.

Do you personally like those emperors' stories ?

I like some of them, yes, although I do prefer the nations. I think historical people (or normal people in general) are best enjoyed in small doses, though, so when they get too much focus, it can drag a bit. I also think that it would be best if the historical characters would interact with the nations, so that we could get to see at least one of the main characters in each story.
Still, the emperors were fun and interesting, and I like what Hima did with them.

Yeah, I do agree that episodic appearances are probably best suited in the context of Hetalia. Roman history really is interesting, and it's nice to develop some trivia too, but I feel it's a bit... off to depict them all like bishonens... Somehow I have a hard time conciliating Hima's style with extensive depiction of real people. It's too saccharine...?

Here's the new chapter! [40] How old is Romeo supposed to be anyway ? This feels a bit "problematic" considering modern standards... lol

Not much older. Apparently his age isn't specified exactly, but they are both very young when they die.

I looked at the Japanese version of this comic first and found it kind of funny-adorable how Hima put "in" in Western letters, but everything around it in Japanese. XD
Sorta reminded me of his bathroom "written in English".
I love it when he does randomly senseless stuff like that.

That's a bit of a relief (or not considering the poor teens die so young)!

Hima sure loves his bizarre stuff, doesn't he ? The mere existence of the mochis proves that! x)

I really like what Hima is doing with Quintillus. His character design is cute and funny, his dimension breaking powers have a lot of potential for jokes and trivia, and now he's interacting with Germany. :D
I wouldn't mind keeping him as an occasionally appearing character even outside the emperor timeline.

[44] This is the second chapter including China, I was really quite surprised to see him introduced before Russia! Otherwise it's what you'd except for his first appearance.
The power of nekomimi truly is something to behold...
