Ivan smiled a bright, creepy smile at the Baltics.
"I'll be right back," he told them happily, before slipping out of the room. They knew this meant they were to stay and wait for his return. Stay. Like always.
As soon as Ivan's footsteps faded, Raivis broke down and finally allowed the tears that had been threatening to escape throughout the Russian's whole talk slip down his cheeks unheeded.
Eduard sighed and, once he was absolutely sure Ivan was gone, for this moment at least, wrapped his arms around his younger brother and held him close, allowing him to cry into the front of his shirt

"Sir...couldn't we...just move a bit? Over there? And he could watch from where he is?" Eduard had to ask, because Raivis had just made it to one foot, still on his other knee, than somehow lost his balance ('Probably dizzy from the pain,' thought Eduard bitterly) and fallen back, landing on his back, causing a quickly stifled scream to erupt from the Latvian's mouth.
Ivan looked over at the Estonian, with such malice in those violet eyes that Eduard couldn't repress a shiver.
"Eduard, have I not just stated that he will move, on his own? You are showing an alarming tendency today to overstep your bounds. Do not let it happen again, comrade, or the repercussions will not be pleasant, I assure you," he said, voice low, edged with an emotion that on any other man would have been assumed to be anger, but Eduard knew better. On Ivan, that emotion was carefully-controlled excitement, and he felt a sudden wave of revulsion, such that he nearly wanted to throw up.
Ah thank you so much for filling this! Although it does make me wonder how that second request got there... Oh I requested the first one btw But good job so far and I can't wait for more 8D

"No, sir..." murmured Eduard quietly. "It won't happen again."
He stood still, filled with a sort of morbid curiosity that made him unable to tear his eyes away from his brother, who had now managed to make it to his feet and was shambling over to the wall Eduard had waited by. When Raivis reached the wall, he collapsed to the ground again, wincing in pain as air rushed painfully past his wounds.
"See Eduard?" said Ivan brightly. "I knew he could make it. Now, on the ground."
Eduard sighed and got to the ground where his brother had, and began taking off his own shirt too. When it was off, he repressed a shiver. He suddenly felt a lot more...vulnerable, without his clothing. He wasn't sure why that was; it wasn't as if a shirt could protect him much. But for some reason, he did. And he was sure Ivan knew that. 'Bastard's probably amused by this,' he thought disgustedly

[[I am such a fail!anon. I can feel the failure of this torture as I write it. I'm just so terrible at it, and I apoligize if I make/made it go too quickly by accident or make/made it unbelivable or something. This just suddenly started bothering me, so I had to add a little note here. Now, back to writing this fill

Eduard shuddered and managed to nod, but quickly stopped after finding that the motion made his head ache. He could feel blood streaming down his back from the wounds, and it itched. He wanted to wipe it away, but he had nothing to wipe it with, and he couldn't reach his back too well anyway. Perhaps this was for the best though. He knew it would hurt to wipe at it. It was better to just leave it for a bit
