Sorry for lateness. author!anon here had to do a lot of homework for this chapter, just to get my facts straight. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. France was the first to turn away from the dreaded stare. He was the country of amour for god's sake. He could resist a few pleading looks. Especially when those looks could equate to him paying millions of dollars

"Alright! Let's get down to business shall we?" America slammed his hands on the table, producing a stack of files from nowhere. "England, you have Alabama, Connecticut, Georgia not your Georgia, Russia, put the pipe down!, Illinois, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusette, Maine, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia

"Guys, guys. Relax. All I need is a hair sample from both of you." America replied, placatingly. "Tony gave me this really cool machine that tells you if the DNA is similar or not! Isn't that awesome

I love this story! I just read the first 3 parts and I think it's very funny, but I'm easily amused I guess XD And Russia with Alaska was so cuuuute. Seeing him act kinda sane like that was really nice.

New Mexico!Anon feels the need to be an ass. xD I love this fill, though. It's great.
New Mexico was part of Mexico after Mexico won it's independence from Spain, the area considered New Mexico was a huge piece of land including modern day Arizona, Utah, and Colorado (the Four Corners states). In the Mexican Cession, America won all of at-the-time-New Mexico. Because of a gold rush in modern-day Colorado, the northern border was drawn, cutting NM in half, the US then told New Mexico that in order to become a state it needed to be cut again, making the western border and Arizona.
TL;DR. New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, and Texas are all Mexico's "kids" so to speak. Cx

Author!anon here, and I figured someone was going to call me out on that. I considered the whole Mexican-Americam war and if what wiki tells me is true, then, Spain's only rightful kid would be Florida. So, this author must confess something, I'm afraid. While for all the other states, I based the paternity based on which nation ceded the land over to America, not who had stable colonies. But in the case between Spain and Mexico, I split it between who ceded the land and who was the first to colonize. Simply because I wanted Spain to have more kids.

Damn, England. That's a lot of states for one little country to pay for. I mean, the Northwest Territory as well as the O13 and Pacific Northwest? Guess he just couldn't help coming back for more children/grandchildren. XD
it basically means, this author!anon ran out of ideas, sorry "Oi, oi! Before we do anything rash, can't we talk this out?" England cried, putting up one last stand. He was the one to pay the most, and damn it, he wasn't going down without a fight. "I want my lawyer! I plead the fifth
