The Morning After the Night Before

Really, who doesn't love a good "morning after" fic?
I personally want to see ANGST by the first nation who wakes up and realizes the situation and the potential fallout that may happen when two characters who have a complicated history together, sleep together. Perhaps they even try to flee which makes the situation even worse? Oh, oh! And then when the two meet again, the second nation pretends they can't remember what happened because the other's leaving hurt them and - gah, I have to stop before I write this thing myself.
*Ahem*
So, whether this has a happy, tension resolving, "let's have a round of sex we can remember clearly this time" ending or an angsty ending where the relationship between the two nations is never fully repaired is in your hands anon!
And guys, I totally wouldn't mind more than one fill - since I would kill to see this scenario applied to more than one group of nations. What can I say? I'm a sucker for these kind of stories. ♥

From now on, Canada decided, he was never going to smoke again. America would be so proud (and then go down to bother Mexico into giving him some weed, even though she was trying hard to get rid of it).
Yeah, he was giving up on it. Really.
He slowly got off the bed (though he really, really wanted to just jump off) because he didn’t want to wake the other nation up. He turned red as the leaf of his flag when the sheet moved with him, revealing more of the sleeping man’s body…oh…
All the blood drained from his face and rushed downward. Totally involuntarily. He moved to throw the sheet back, but he too was naked.
So he had been a little high, just a little, even while he wasn’t in his own country, oh god. He could already hear France in his head Très bonne Canada.
Just seconds after his heart swelled, it shattered.
AmericaHe’d…he’d been confused for America again. The realization struck him hard and effectively killed his growing erection

...D'aw...Poor babies...Matthew...you idiot. And Arthur...is actually innocent of any wrongdoing here, he knew who Matty was! For once...XD (Oh please anon, let this have a happy ending? DX) And...Arthur can't hear the fairies? Or see them? (Is this one of those, 'he finally got laid and thus is no longer innocent enough to see them' things? If so...Poor baby.)
