Any two nations (Yes, this could mean Mpreg)-
"Nation B" experiences a devastating amount of psychological turmoil and shock at having such an (seemingly) impossible thing happen to them, as they become further horrified by the changes that take place in their body with the complications of pregnancy (ie: growing breasts, swollen feet, the whole raw deal). Meanwhile, "Nation A" has to take the responsibility of trying to help the other adjust, though they also have to deal with their own stress over the entire situation.

Just a little thing. Author!anon did not intend for this to be France/Canada at first, but that's sort of what it morphed into.
France is not ready to become a father. His record with his colonies has not always been a thing of beauty, and he has not always had the closest hand in their upbringing. In fact, the colony with whom he feels the closest, his beautiful Canada, his fierte, is no longer his at all. No longer anybody's, Canada would say, since his independence from that awful rosbif. France may be a womanizer, a philanderer, and, yes, perhaps even a lecher, but a father is something he has avoided like the plague
( ... )
>_< I-It's such cuteness, though, and sadness, and angst-ness...you did such an awesome job! I-I can't...really figure out the words to describe it. ^^;

OP here! I love how you incorporated Canada's fear and insecurity into it, and how France, the one who looks at the "beautiful" sides of things, sees the positive in it. Though there's still quite the angst and fear to be had from poor Canada, and France's own worries :(.
Nice way of incorporating Quebec and fearing of him "splitting" into the whole thing too. It definitely adds to it!
Very glad you liked it, OP. My intention was originally to do France/England, but then I got to thinking about things like the October Crisis and the whole Quebec sovereignty deal. That's gotta be so psychologically damaging, you know? I think this prompt was a good way to express it, so thanks.
I might end up doing another fill for this that's France/England, but I don't know. Most of what I write of those two is just way too silly. ♥ I look forward to seeing what others do.
