I don't care if it's sappy sweet in a twisted way, complete crack, or just outright scary because of Russia, but the kink I'm asking for is that heartbeats are mentioned a lot, as either a sort of theme, or just a really juicy bit of it. Lativa hearing his own pounding heart, or Russia listening to it, I don't care. Just have fun with anon.

No, you got it right. Ever seen a toddler playing roughly with a dog or a cat and then being completely surprised when the the animal tries to defend itself? Well, that's how I always picture Russia, like a child who has no idea how much he's hurting others and therefore can't even imagine a reason why they would ever hate him.

The sentence is easily cut off by a kiss. Raivis can't compare it to earlier experiences, because this is his first, but despite a faint, bitter taste of vodka the kiss is heavenly sweet. He moans in disappointment when Ivan pulls back.

"You're still scared?"

"No I-"

"Your heart is beating very hard again."

Raivis blushes and lowers his gaze. "It's because-" a short pause, then his frown is replaced with a smile "You're right. It is. I guess you have to pet me some more."

The comparison between Raivis and a rabbit was so spot on to what I was requesting, it's rather scary.
Although, it makes me sad that Russia is only using Raivis while Liet is away. Poor little Raivis is going to get his heart broken when Liet returns.

Thanks^^ Every time Russia is close to him it looks like Latvia goes "OH GOD! HE'S GONNA KILL ME!". So because of that I had him expect the worst whenever Russia made a new move XD

Awmigod I love this fic. It's so awesome and hot and strangely cute. The descriptions of Latvia's terror are so spot-on (and really hot *fans self*) and I love how your Russia's just kind of "out there". Like "You're a bunny :D" was friggin' adorable. Really, a great analogy for Latvia. And it's works so well~
