[I apologise for the quality/ fact that this is only a small part/ lame name. This fiction is growing longer and longer and I'm not even on the home run, so please bear with me.]It was one of those perfect days. The wind swept gently through the rye, causing it to bob and sway, before standing proud and tall moments later when the breeze died down. The motion caused a faint roar to filter through the air, not entirely unlike the noise of ocean waves, rolling steadily, surging and subsiding, strangely rhythmic. Toris breathed in deeply, inhaling the scent of the fields that surrounded him, finding it wonderfully comforting and so familiar. He released his breath in a long sigh and opened his eyes slowly, squinting slightly as the sunlight assaulted him

After a long time, Feliks turned back to face him, catching his softened gaze. The blond smiled gently, his expression distant from his usual wide and jovial grins, but just as fitting. His fingers smoothed across Toris’ simple white shirt, mindless, and yet comforting and affectionate. The silence stretched out between them, the wind whispering across the fields stealing the words from them before they were formed, and putting it more eloquently than either of them could ever manage
