America/Canada - After America became independent but before Canada did? Either:
1. At the time of America's Revolution, Canada sided with UK and America even tried to invade Canada because of it. So maybe some attempted non-con with angry-hurt America and 'good son'-obedient to UK Canada? (Does that make me a bad person? XD)

Or:
2. America is independent but Canada isn't, and Canada is developing a close relationship with America. UK does not like, so UK cock-blocks.

LE GASP. A FIC ABOUT 1812 THAT DOESN'T DEAL WITH BURNING DOWN WASHINGTON. I know, anon, it frightens me too, but the war of 1812 actually had a lot of battles. Also, warning, there is a lot of unexplained random Canada/US history inside tidbits dealing with the war of said year that I'm really sorry about. I just absolutely love this time period, when both of these countries were forming and shaping each other and being influenced by the big three... Oh, I can go on forever. Which makes me really sad that this is so short. Sorry anon. OTZ

“So this is what it’s come to, is it?” Canada sighed as he was bashed front up into the wall that surrounded the burning York. Somehow, even that sigh sounded like him, condescending and imperial.

“Would you just shut the fuck up and join me already?” America demanded, shoving harder on the collar of the other man’s shirt. “I’m tired of fighting you ( ... )

“I’m the one who’s allies with France,” America told him, still trying to get through to the thick headed man, even as he grasped the waist of his pants and dragged them down. Canada hissed in pain as his belt scraped over his skin roughly, drawing blood. “You like France. Hell, you are French.”

“I’m British. And even if I was still French, I still wouldn’t be joining your protestant ass,” Canada snarled, kicking him in the chest with one of his legs. America grunted in pain and punched the prone man hard in the stomach, making the Canadian moan and curl in on himself ( ... )

I was just getting ready to go to bed before I checked this on a whim, and OMG writer!anon, I could cry tears of joy right now!! This is everything I wanted--even historical, and emotionally driven!

The explosion that interrupted them was a perfect event for the turn of the tide in the battle of both them and the countries they represent. AND UGH, Canada's last desperate and quiet words...! Poor boy and his attention-seeking abandonment syndrome!

I'm rambling. I'm sorry, I've filled six requests and only made two of my own, and so you filling this makes me so so happy! I LOVE YOU FOREVER, GLORIOUS ANON!

Canadanon the second also loves it, especially Matthew's insistence that he's British. Can't have Canadian history without our identity crisis.
