Here's a potentially morally explosive one :

What about China X Tibet

Bonus for mention of any other country. Please and thanks!

Anon-OP has just pushed buttons! Also, I named Tibet, because I’m cool? The most glorious part of it is that Nyon Pemba, who Yao has known his whole life, never suspects a thing ( ... )

“I can protect you, Pemba,” Yao murmured, lips brushing over Pemba’s ear. Pemba shook like a leaf, and Yao felt his lips turning up with a smile. “The West, they will come to you with pretty words, and they will take from you. But I-”

“Yao, stop it,” Pemba begged, pulling at his arms. Yao released them for a moment to pull at Pemba’s shuba and his own changshan. Pemba struggled, pushing at Yao’s chest and trying to pull away and flee; Yao pulled Pemba back by the soft woolen weave ( ... )

Well you've managed to push all the right buttons here Anon!

This was above and beyond what I had been hoping for! I loved this! So much! That was pretty impressively intense. I like what you did with the characterizations here, and the Tibet's name just sounded appropriate. I liked how you tied in Chaojing btw.

I just loved how you portrayed these guys! Man anon, you did good! Totally adored the bit with the butter tea, Tibet's laugh, China taking off his gloves, and China getting kicked. Ps: Khata bondage is just so win. I'm so glad it turned up.

jsadhkasdhasdasd, you just rock so hard Author-Anon!

Brutal. - but in a good way. Wow, China/Tibet, just wow. I have just developed a thing for this pairing. It makes so much now a days sense. Hot.
One question though. Is there any significance of the Austrian tourists?

^_^ I'm glad you--and apparently a lot of people--really enjoy this piece! In fact, I'm not sure if I should be REALLY EXCITED or REALLY FREAKED OUT by how much people seem to like this

The Austrian 'tourists' are actually two very specific men--Heinrich Harrer, who was a tutor and friend to the fourteenth Dalai Lama (Tenzin Gyatso), and his fellow Austrian, Peter Aufschnaiter. Both had escaped from British imprisonment in India and fled to Tibet, where they stayed for seven years--when, in 1950, China began absorption of Tibet as a municipality.

Ah. Seven years in Tibet. Yes that would make much more sense. (And it adds to the awesome like WOAH!) be really excited because non-aru-ing China is indeed hot. Lol, I am infatuated with your writing and China portrayal.

I'm such an avatard ;-;

"OH LOOK GYATSO"

In other news, I really loved the story...ah, poor Tibet. Very well written.

You're not the only one having Avatard moments because of Tibet. I keep seeing him as Aang in my head.

...that just makes everything worse TTnTT

So, so good. I have so much love for this kind of harsh and brutal China characterization. Not a single 'aru' in sight. I also really liked how Tibet fought back and KEPT fighting back.
