Hungary, Finland and Estonia are kind of the odd birds of Europe, in the sense that they're populated by peoples speaking Finno-Ugrian languages, whereas the rest of Europe speaks Indo-European languages. (Hungarian is more distantly related to Estonian and Finnish than the two are to each other, but the Finnic peoples still feel a kinship with the Magyar.)
