Recently there was a massive recall on contaminated peanut butter products in the United States. A lot of people got salmonella and an unhappy time was had by all. A while ago, something similar happened with spinach. After that recall, many people said they'd stop eating spinach. Why hasn't the same happened to peanut butter?

Americans love the stuff too much.
