The package lies unopened, like a dirty secret that neither lovers are willing to talk about, but which continues to haunt them long after the battlefield is grown over with weeds

Oh, and if you're confused about this fic, the Chinese Hetalia fandom is quite big. They really like Rochu. Some of the real pervy Rochu doujins I've read are made by said fandom. Doujinshi culture came from Japan, obviously...so it's Kiku's fault that Yao fantasizes about Ivan being...you know.

Oh goodness. You took a rather comical request and turned it into hot and heavy serious stuff right there. Wonderful satire and the relationships and characters are very clearly expressed, between the lines.

Thanks for this fill!
Actually, the massagers were produced by a Chinese factory lol Sanrio sold the right to a Japanese company who contracted out the work to a mainland Chinese factory.I live right next to a Daiso and I swear that most of the stuff is made in China.
Well, who would begrudge Yao a bit of pleasure given his hard life? ;)Someone once wrote a rather grim fanfic that pictures Yao making toys in a factory.

I think of Yao as associating with the working masses more than the rich folks. I think he spent most of his pre-industrial life doing stuff like innkeeping, weaving baskets, digging ditches etc...but I think he also likes watching cartoons on the internet. He doesn't mind shows like Hetalia, of course...
I have several Daiso items in my dorm room, including a teapot, matching teacups, art markers, and a pencil box. It's all made in China (except for a few soap baskets...), country where Hetalia merchandise is made~ Feeding the hikikomori habit there...
The vibrators used to be made in Taiwan, says one site.

In my headcanon, he knows how to speak all the different dialects, rear silkworms and spin silk, grow tea and rice, do awesome papercuts and stuff. He watches cartoons on youku dubbed into Chinese.
Taiwan also likes Hello Kitty because she's a girly girl and it comes from JAPAN!
I'm off to make kimchi now (I'm soaking the cabbage). I'm not Korean though, just like foreign foods. Do you know Yong Soo is having a kimchi crisis? He had a bad harvest and now has to import cabbages from Yao.

LOL, everyone has to import stuff from YAO~
Japan had a mushroom and leek tariff on Yao's mushrooms and leeks...but had to lift it around the holidays XD
If China has a crush and and S. Korea likes groping Japan, then Taiwan must want to lock him in her closet and neeeeever let him out and Hong Kong must want to grope him too...it's all relative...
Yao discovers the Hello Kitty vibrator.

I don't know why but I always imagine him as having rough, callused hands from all the farm/industrial work. What do you think?
