Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Vietnam bonding over stories about Japan and his tyranny during World War II over them. Bonus if China or Japan hears a suggestive part of the conversation.

...oh lord I'm so sorry for this I went really off topic and diverged to a Hong Kong centric fic. I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry...OTL
He traces the rim of the tea cup idly, not really giving care for much of the conversation be-folding in front of him.
It was all a little bit too personal for Hong Kong, after all.
Blame South Korea for drawing them into this little excursion to begin with.
“I dunno how many years it’s even been since his colonies occupied us, let’s see, one decade, two - ” Korea fondles with his fingers for a moment, before heaving a sigh and declaring: “a while, nevertheless.”
Taiwan nods politely, taking a sip of steaming tea from her cup. She places it delicately down on the table with a quiet ‘clink’, before returning to formal conversation. “If I recall, there was a prior assassination about twenty years before the main occupation of the next century…that of ‘Empress Myeongseong’, was it not?”
“Queen Min,” Korea corrects monotonously, eyes dropping and his index finger jabbing hard against the table. “

Hong Kong stares out at the vast expanse of the South China sea from a harbor of Hai Phong. He’s not really in the mood for talking, and is glad that Vietnam is not one for much conversation either. Their governmental meeting ended hours prior

That was REALLY good, well written and I love the style of prose, the use of imagery and the story that was integrated at the third part. Written on a whim? A lot of good stuff can come out of whims.
I love youuu~~~ I like how it's in Hong Kong's POV (even if it did slightly diverge from the original prompt, but that's A-OKAY~).

I don't review things often, but wow. I'm stunned speechless, Authornon.
I think the characterizations (at least what I'd imagine their personalities to be) are spot-on and the imagery is simply amazing. I love the incorporation of the little tidbits of culture and history. It's distinctively, Asian. Haha. I loved how you left it a little open-ended (but still tied up quite nicely with the little story at the end) and unbiased while getting HK's feelings across. I mean, when I was reading it, I didn't feel like there was an overwhelming amount of hatred from any of the countries -- just some confusion and speculation. I don't know if I'm reading too much into it, but I really do love this a lot! Thank you for writing it! Ahhh~~ 'Definitely going to save this on my hard drive. :D
Are there any other works that you have done? I simply love your style here.
